The ghost between the strings is now a somehow defunct project, but some unpublished recordings are still waiting to be released. So let's say that "The tunnel at the end of the light" is his 1st "posthumous" album. It's made of a single track based on an e-bowed guitar improvisation recorded in 2009 in a rather lo-fi way, and that was slightly mixed / edited / processed in 2010/2011.

Jeff Sampson -
This is some seriously organic-sounding e-bow work. Controlled, yet very alive. Outstanding! It's a good thing it's only the project name that's somehow defunct, and not the artist.
Subject: Why I love this
This music helps me think of the heavy thoughts that sometimes plague my mind. The drone actually keeps me concentrate on one thought. Though my thoughts are heavy I feel the soothing and gentle tune seep into my spirit.
Watch out. Do not let anyone hear this wonderful music. I made the mistake of rolling down the window of my car. All of sudden, someone yelled "What are you listening to!!?" So I keep it to myself. Perhaps its the most personal music there is.
I guess the best thing I can say to the artist is MORE !
